It really is true…everything does sound more romantic in French. Les Belles Lunettes, or beautiful eyeglasses, are what we have come to expect from the Anne et Valentin collection out of Toulouse, France. The colors, the lines, and the dynamics of Anne et Valentin eyewear consistently reflect that French sensibility of style and romance. That certain something, we say. Or, je ne sais quoi.
Gabriel Gestin of Anne et Valentin had such a great time with us last year that he is making a return visit to Specs Optical. If you missed him, here’s your chance. On Tuesday, February 28th 2012, from 10am to 7pm, Gabriel will be showing the Anne et Valentin collection in its entirety. It really is tremendous to see Anne et Valentin in all its glory.
Par usual, we will be offering coffees, cappuccino, and lattes along with some French-inspired treats (no, not French fries). Gabriel is looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting some new friends. So, stop by anytime. Feel free to contact us with any questions at 612-374-2114 or firstname.lastname@example.org .
Gabriel Gestin, expert on all things Anne et Valentin, will be visiting Specs Optical to see you! Come meet him and let him show you all the gorgeous, brilliantly-colored eyewear that Anne et Valentin has to offer.
An opportunity to let a beautiful Frenchman enhance your specs life!
Have you been spotted at Specs Optical? As you can see Kelly was spotted.
On June 28th you may have spotted Rama, ofRAMASSIA in our shop. Ramassia is one of our distributors. Rama and his wife Assia, help us keepKirk Originals, Theoand Anne et Valentinon our shelves. Rama is the son of Anne and Valentin. He took time out of his busy schedule to visit and show us some of the goods he reps. We were treated to a terrific dinner at La Chaya Bistro.
Maybe you spotted Renee Kraft, Tracy Terbell, Matt Braun, Bonnie Breeding, the Queen of England, Salvador Dali, or did you spot Elvis? You just never know who you will spot.
Shouldn’t you be spotted? Maybe in sunglasses by Tim Van Steenbergen, maybe a new Kirk Originals. Really, shouldn’t you be spotted in something by Specs Optical.
SPECS OPTICAL loves the charming international designers, whose eyewear collections grace our store. While John Oliva and Nancy Krant were in Milan (Italy) attending MIDO, the International Eyewear Exhibition (Optics, Ophthalmology, Optometry), they had a chance to catch up with some of the designers who create the hand-crafted, limited-production eyeglasses and sunglasses that we love and carry at SPECS.
All of us at Specs Optical are excited to announce that Elizabeth Faraut of LaLoop and Gabriel Gestin of Anne et Valentin will be here with their entire collections on display!
It is an extremely rare occasion that the entire Anne et Valentin collection will be available for viewing outside their own family run shop in Toulouse, South of France. Anne et Valentin frames are all-at-once clean, colorful, sculptural, vibrant, and unique. It is not uncommon to hear us describe them as “show-stoppers.” The right Anne et Valentin piece will compliment and accentuate your identity…a style all your own.
And after you pick out your beautiful new Anne et Valentin specs, why not compliment them with a handmade LaLoop. Designer Elizabeth Faraut created LaLoop out of necessity as an alternate to old-fashioned granny leashes (you know…the ones the dangle to either side of the face). LaLoop, worn as a necklace, is a must-have for anybody wearing sunglasses, multiple pairs, readers, etc.. If there is always a place for your specs, you won’t lose them, right? Sterling silver, gold, and bronze loops are paired with leather, shell, horn and tortoise acetates, semi-precious stones, and wood. Styles range from clean and simple to downright couture and have been prominently featured in Cosmo, Allure, Instyle, and Elle…to name a few.
Elizabeth and Gabriel are looking forward to meeting and playing with all of you. If you’d like to make an appointment to sit with one or both of them, please give us a call @ 612.374.2114 or drop us an email. Otherwise, stop by anytime between Noon and 7pm!
