Eye Exams

As an optician, lab master, and supervisor, Bonnie brings over 30 years of experience to her current role as Store Manager. This native of Chicago has been a valued part of the SPECS OPTICAL TEAM since 2001! When not running the show in store, Bonnie is utterly devoted to the true love of her life: her phenomenal son Bennett.

2018 marks Kelly’s 20th anniversary with SPECS OPTICAL, and as our Senior Optician, she radiates love for this store and its clients on the daily!  When not helping people find the latest and greatest in eyewear, Kelly can be found out with friends enjoying the food scene, rocking out at Soundset, or just appreciating the scenery via a walk around the lakes.

Darcey is our ‘New kid on the block’ but she knows her stuff when it comes to optics.  Since 2010 she has ben matching frames to peoples styles and smiles!  She loves music and makeup, snow and sun, and everything fun!

Came to Minneapolis in ’88 via Colorado. Graduated from MCAD in ’92. Got my foot in the door at SPECS OPTICAL because of Kelly. Love to spend my free time working out or watching my daughter become a lovely young lady.

A graduate of the College of Optometry at The Ohio State University in Columbus, 2016 marked Dr. Madhok’s 20th anniversary with SPECS OPTICAL! Her greatest loves are fitness, fashion, tooling about in her garden, and listening to all things Prince.

Since joining SPECS OPTICAL in 2007, Jenny has become our in-house Lens Expert and guru of the finishing lab! Home ownership has proven to be both delightful and challenging . . . sometimes in equal measures. Jenny can often be found enjoying the world outside of home and work at the dog park with her cutest companion, “Ruby.”

Since joining SPECS OPTICAL in 2015, Chele has taken on the role of Social Media Specialist, and is currently dipping her toes into the crazy waters of our in-house lab! When not glued to an electronic screen, Chele can be found brunching with her girlfriends, purchasing an excessive amount of toys for her cats, or blissfully wandering the aisles of Magers & Quinn.

A 2005 graduate of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, Dr. Legois joined the SPECS OPTICAL team in 2016. When not in the office, he can often be found supporting the live music scene, purchasing copious amounts of new vinyl, dining at the newest hotspots – and then working those tasty meals off at the gym!
